Review text: Powweb offer a 1-tier service, which makes selecting a hosting plan really simple!

It's difficult to know how many sites they host so performance could be an issue especially if you are running a dynamic site. We've noticed our mySQL performance getting hit hard at certain times of day.

There's plenty of help available in the knowledge base and the forums and, unsurprisingly, it's a mixture of first rate advice and rubbish.

We did have a lot of problems with our site after their changeover in the middle of last year, but our complaints were escalated to a high level and our problems did get resolved.

We took advantage of a long-term offer which meant 4 years for the price of 2, but even the 2 year deal is pretty good value. All in all, a good budget host with more space and bandwidth than you're ever likely to need.

Review text: POWWEB is OK, I had major problems when they switched over to new ownership a year or so ago, theyve trimmed down their services quite a bit since then. What I like is that there are no ads or popups covering the page like Godaddy, its a very simple to use interface.

Review text: POWWEB is one of many hosting companies that offer lots of storage and bandwidth for a very affordable price. They aren't as slick looking as some others but they are easy enough to work with. One of the big pluses for me is that they automatically backup my files on a regular basis so I'll never lose more than a week's worth of data should there ever be a problem.

They also offer free phone tech support - not the best I've used but they do seem to be more power-user focused so you'll likely have the latest version of software required to run many of the popular programs.
